Pilates Matwork 

Whether you are beginning a new exercise regime, or a strong athlete needing to re-balance the body, Michele takes you through a series of Pilates exercies, which will restore confidence, renew strength and develop good posture.

 

Level 1: Start with the fundamentals of Pilates. In this class you will learn the basic series of exercises upon which the entire Pilates method is built. Heavy emphasis on abdominal strengthening is a necessity at every fitness level and breathing techniques will allow you to deliver fresh oxygen to the body and exhale toxins and tension, leaving you feeling challenged but not drained.

 

Level 2/3: Pilates Intermediate reviews the fundamentals of beginner class while moving on to the more challenging exercises and repertoire. Learn the cadence and rhythm of a more aerobic mat, focusing on precision and flow. This class is designed for the more experienced Pilates student.

Stretch and Sculpt

Strengthen connective tissue and stretch muscles you never knew you had. This class is designed to improve the elasticity of your muscles and restore and reaffirm comfortable muscle tone. An elastic band or other fitness equipment may be used to enhance the toning workout. The result is a feeling of increased muscle control, flexibility and range of motion. Stretching is important for people of all ages and can help to ward off injury. Other benefits of stretching include reduced muscle tension, enhanced muscular coordination, increased blood circulation and higher energy levels.
